Laptops and Technology

We have a limited number of Dell Inspiron laptop computers available for short-term checkout. To use one of our laptops, please fill out this form.

These computers are well-equipped to handle basic academic tasks like accessing websites, using Microsoft Office programs, and web conferencing (e.g., Zoom). If you need access to other technology (e.g., USB drive, software), please stop by the 2nd floor of Magale Library. We are here to help!

Textbooks and Course Materials

You can purchase all of your textbooks through the campus store, but, if you are still waiting on a book to be delivered, we have a large collection of textbooks for use here in the Learning Commons. You can also search the Magale Library catalog (physical collections) and the reserve textbook directory to learn more about what is available.

Academic Supplies

Need some index cards or an extra notebook? Would a giant marker board to help you gather your ideas for an upcoming research paper? We’ve got you covered!

The supply cart in the Learning Commons is regularly stocked with highlighters, scratch paper, note-taking guides, and other study tools. We also have a multipurpose room (211) equipped with web conferencing items like a green screen and ring light so you can ace online interviews.

Study Hack - Pomodoro Timer

The Pomodoro Technique helps you maintain focus by breaking work into intervals. Work for 25 minutes, take a 5-minute break. After 4 pomodoros, take a longer 15-minute break. This method helps prevent burnout and maintains high productivity throughout your study session. Click here to use our virtual timer!
